Does my parent need to install an app?

No. Reminders arrive as normal WhatsApp messages. As long as they can read a message and reply “OK”, they’re set.

How long does setup take?

Most families finish in under five minutes — add the person, tick which medicines they take and when, and reminders start the same day.

Can I set reminders for someone else?

Yes. During setup you choose “for myself” or “for someone else” and enter their WhatsApp number and preferred language.

What if I can’t find a medicine in your list?

You can add any medicine by name. Our catalogue covers 2,00,000+ products, but typing a custom name works just as well.

Does it need a smartphone?

Any phone that runs WhatsApp works — Android, iPhone, or a basic smartphone. There’s nothing extra to download.

What happens if they don’t reply?

If there’s no reply within 30 minutes, we alert the emergency contact you chose — so someone can check in.

How many reminders go out each day?

Up to four — morning, afternoon, evening and night. Each person only gets reminders for the times you’ve set for their medicines.

Can I change the reminder times?

Yes. You pick morning, afternoon, evening or night for each medicine, and you can edit those any time from your dashboard.

What does a missed-dose alert look like?

Your emergency contact gets a short WhatsApp message naming the person and the dose they missed, so they can call and check in.

Will it keep reminding if they don’t take it?

We send the reminder at the set time and wait for an “OK”. If none comes within 30 minutes, the alert goes to your emergency contact rather than nagging repeatedly.

How much does it cost?

₹99 per month for one person, billed through Razorpay. No setup fee, and you can cancel anytime.

What’s the difference between the plans?

Daily Dose covers one person, Daily Family covers up to three, and Daily Vitals adds BP, sugar and weight tracking over WhatsApp.

Can I pay once instead of subscribing?

Yes. One-time packs start at ₹49 for 7 days — you pay once, use it for a fixed window, and nothing auto-renews.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime from your dashboard — there’s no lock-in and no cancellation fee. Your reminders run until the period you’ve paid for ends.

Is there an annual plan?

Yes. Paying yearly gives you two months free compared with the monthly price. You can switch between monthly and annual on the pricing page.

Which languages are supported?

Hindi and English today. Reminders are sent in the language you pick for each person.

Can I change the language later?

Yes. Each person’s reminder language can be changed any time from your dashboard.

How do I get help if something goes wrong?

Message us on WhatsApp or email support@dailydawa.com, Monday to Saturday, 9am–7pm IST. A real person — not a bot — replies.

Is my health data private?

Yes. We don’t sell your data, and medicine names and readings stay private to your account. Payments are handled securely by Razorpay.

Is this a substitute for medical advice?

No. DailyDawa is a reminder and alerting tool. Always follow your doctor’s instructions for what to take and when.
