About this tool

A chart on the fridge still beats almost everything else, especially for a parent who doesn't want another app on their phone. It's visible, it doesn't run out of battery, and anyone in the house can read it.

This makes one. Enter the person's name and their medicines, tick morning, afternoon, evening or night for each, and add the food instruction you were given. The print version is laid out on A4 with large type and wide tick boxes, with the page furniture - menus, buttons, our own branding - stripped out.

Print it, put it where it will actually be seen, and tick the boxes as the day goes on.

How to use it

  1. Type the name of the person the chart is for.
  2. Add each medicine, with the dose as written on the prescription.
  3. Tick which parts of the day each medicine is taken.
  4. Add the food instruction and any short note - "half tablet", "only if needed".
  5. Press Print. Choose A4 and, if your printer offers it, turn off headers and footers for the cleanest result.

Questions people ask

What paper size does it print on?

A4, portrait, which is the standard size in India and most of the world. It's laid out to fill one sheet with large, readable type.

Can I save it as a PDF instead of printing?

Yes. In the print dialog choose "Save as PDF" as the destination instead of your printer. You can then send that file on WhatsApp or email.

Are there tick boxes for each day?

Yes - the printed chart has a row of empty boxes for each medicine and time, so the person taking them can tick off each dose with a pen.

Does the chart include dose instructions?

Only the ones you type in. The chart reproduces your doctor's instructions; it never adds any of its own.

Want these reminders to arrive on their own?

A schedule is only as good as the day you actually follow it. DailyDawa sends each dose as a WhatsApp message at the time you've set - no app to install - and tells you if there's no reply, so you know a dose was missed before it becomes a problem.
